A day of fun at Kington Kids
Discover the exciting and enriching activities that fill the days of children at Kington Kids. From lively mornings to engaging afternoons and adventurous holidays, we ensure every child thrives in a caring and stimulating environment.

Breakfast club: a bright start to the day
Our breakfast club runs from 07:30, offering a delicious and varied start to the day. Children can choose from cereals, toast, breakfast bars, or our daily specialty such as scrambled eggs or pancakes. At 08:30, wearing high-visibility vests, the children enjoy a supervised walk to Kington St. Michael Primary School. This walk is affectionately known by locals as "the caterpillar", creating a lovely community connection.

After-school club: fun and relaxation
When the school day ends, the fun continues! At 15:25, children are walked back from school to the hall, where a choice of a hot meal or a sandwich awaits them. Our after-school sessions are packed with lots of board games and engaging outside activities, providing a perfect balance of relaxation and active play after a day of learning.

Holiday club: adventure and discovery
Our holiday club, running from 08:30 until 16:30, is designed for excitement and exploration, catering to all primary school children. Each day features two engaging activities, delicious snacks, and an exciting visit to the local village park. We constantly seek new games and craft ideas to keep things fresh and exciting, encouraging children to even suggest activities through our suggestion box.
Our unique approach to activities
At Kington Kids, we pride ourselves on our family-run ethos. Our team consists of dedicated mums who once had children at the school, Ofsted regulated and DBS checked, ensuring a safe and caring environment. Activities are well-planned, but children are always at the heart of our decisions; they can choose from a variety of options and even select a theme or topic for the term. We ensure there are always plenty of choices, accommodating all ages, interests, and abilities, fostering an inclusive atmosphere where every child can enjoy and participate.
